Xiaomin Ying Principal investigator of Computational Omics lab Xiaomin Ying received her PhD from National University of Defense and Technology in 2003. She is a professor of Bioinformatics in Beijing Institute of Basic Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on data mining from large scale data of microarrays, high-throughput sequencing, and clinical information to identify genes, small RNAs and long noncoding RNAs playing critical roles in diseases and to establish the association of microbiome with diseases.
